Healesville: ¡Tu Aventura Única con Fauna Australiana!

Muy buen lugar para concocer un poco de la fauna australiana, con animales típicos como el Quala, Canguro, Ortinorrinco, Emu y otros. Llegamos unas 11:00 am, mas o menos dos horas desde Melbourne en auto, manejando tranquilos. Pagamos entrada familiar de 93 dólares. El parque es muy bonito, muy bien organizado, los animales estan super bien cuidados y la gente que trabaja es muy atenciosa. Hay tres areas imperdibles, Canguros/Qualas, Aves/Loros y el ornitorrinco.

Disfrutamos nuestra visita para ver los animales. El espectáculo de aves fue lo más destacado. Ver la belleza e inteligencia en estos animales aumenta el aprecio por nuestro creador. Lo decepcionante fue que, debido al calor, algunos de los animales estaban escondidos o dormidos. Realmente queríamos sostener un koala o alimentar a un canguro, pero este no es el tipo de parque donde se hace eso. Los amigos que te envíen pueden hacerlo en Ballarat. Bueno, tal vez la próxima vez.

Ver animales nativos australianos deambulando por el parque fue increíble. Hicimos la excursión de vida salvaje con la encantadora Erin y fue excelente. Erin nos contó muchas historias interesantes sobre los animales y el medio ambiente, y respondió a todas nuestras preguntas, fue muy divertida y amable. También pudimos acercarnos a los kualas y alimentar a algunos canguros. Muy recomendado

The flight expo was amazing 🤩 highly recommend this place - the trainers the birds of flight so good!

What set this place apart was the caliber of the staff throughout the sanctuary. Without exception, they were highly knowledgeable and helpful. So much value was added to our visit from their work in explaining what we were seeing, to helping us spot things that were hidden, and so on.

Amazing place to visit to see and learn more of Australian wildlife, with a strong focus on education and preservation. Well done to the team! Variety to see were much greater than expected, and lots of places to take a rest and let kids blow off steam

we wanted to see native Australian animals whilst visiting Australia. Plenty to see. Saw koalas and kangaroo and more.

The sanctuary grounds and animals were amazing. However with 2 small children requiring the toilet, the overflowing sanitary bins, faeces and urine flowing on the ground caused my 4 year old to vomit. It was absolutely disgusting, never have I experienced such appalling facilities. For the cost of tickets surely cleaners can maintain the facilities even to a reasonable standard.

While a pleasant stroll for a couple of hours, there isnt alot there. It hasnt changed much since the 1980’s and it was once good back in the day, but times of changed and it hasnt kept up with modern standards. In todays world it is very average and poor is some respects There is virtually no reptiles at all. A little metal shed with 4 windows, that takes 20 seconds to walk through . A bird Avery thats more like a large cage with 4 or 5 parrots. No fresh water marine life section at all, other than a platypus . Food - terrible. a couple of take away spots with chips and pizza which were in competition with a nest of wasps that were both in the kitchen on the food and in the seating area. Staff - putting aside its definitely far left woke world, not that its in your face and you have engage in it, but more importantly the lack of knowledge was surprising. The staff in the bird cage that only had 4-5 parrots didnt know what family of birds parrots relate too. Saying “i dont know alot about them” is never a good look. Overall, its typical sleepy very average experience. You wouldnt go out of your way to drive to it unless you were passing by. Ultimately it needs tens of millions of dollars in investment, a shift away from its 1980’s origins and a large number of animals and reptiles brought in. At the moments its not worth a visit

My second visit to the park- partners first visit. Both times have been a great experience. Lots of knowledge volunteers and keepers to supplement our learning. One of the best things to see (other than the spirit of the sky) is the zoo hospital. We were lucky enough to see a koala being treated and under anaesthetic.
